The Ruet-e-Hilal Exploration Committee (RHRC) said that possibilities of Eid ul Fitr 2023 falling on April 21, Friday were extremely low as the new bow will be brought into the world at 9:13 am on April 20 and its age will be under 10 hours that day.
Addressing the media, the board’s Secretary-General, Khalid Ijaz Mufti, said that the Ruet body meeting is set to assemble on Thursday, April 20, to locate the Shawwal moon for Eid ul Fitr 2023.
It was far-fetched that the Shawwal moon will be located on April 21 night, he said, adding that in the event that the sickle is located on Thursday night, Eid-ul-Fitr will be praised on Friday, April 21.
Mufti Khalid Ijaz said that Eid ul Fitr 2023 will no doubt be commended on April 22 in the wake of finishing 30 fasting days of the heavenly month of Ramazan.
“The introduction of the moon is supposed to happen on Thursday, April 20, at 9:13am Pakistan Standard Time (PST), he said, adding that the term of moon ought to be over 19 hours and its age will be under 10 hours in Pakistan.
“Regardless of whether the sky is certain that day [April 20], the moon wouldn’t be spotted,” Mutfi Khalid added.
Consequently, the 30th of Ramazan will be seen on April 21, and the first of Shawwal will be praised on April 22, said the committee.
